A brief arrived on our desk asking us to produce an outer, a letter and a 4-page brochure, aimed at clinics and health professionals, to sell a little gizmo that enabled a regular printer to print prescriptions. We thought we could push things a little further. We gave the account team a couple of ideas that fit the brief and also persuaded them to present one that was a little more engaging but a trifle more expensive. The client got really excited about our third idea, found the extra budget and left us laughing all the way to a Creative Innovations Awards lunch.
